In the website's opinion, Jeannette Van Steelant went to her grave prematurely in January 2007, when in October 2006, her son Andy Bouchard, and daughters Lynda Staub and Claire Demery learned of and prevented their mother from boarding her scheduled flight to the Burzynski Cancer Clinic to return for life-saving treatment which had amazed her oncologists in 2005! 

These three greed-motivated children had their mother discharged from the hospital to prevent her from taking her flight to return to a cancer facility which boasts of a 93% cure rate with their sister of B.C. where she had previously been undergoing treatment in 2005 until stopped by these same abusers!

Jeannette Van Steelant had been given "no hope" for survival in Manitoba. 

One of the medications she had been taking in Houston, Texas, "Avastin" was approved in Manitoba THREE WEEKS before she died - part of her American treatment which amazed her oncologists in 2005! 

Having already sized up their mother and step-father's estate, Lynda Staub, Helene Johnson, Claire Demery and Andy Bouchard persuaded their mother from discontinuing treatment in Houston, Texas at the famous Burzynski Clinic. 

Furthermore, these same children ordered Jeannette Van Steelant, their mother, not to divulge this information to their sister of B.C. ! 

From the onset of treatment, Lynda Staub had been sabotaging the Clinic's efforts two weeks after she commenced her treatment in 2005.

Lynda Staub favored Sanivov, a Usana-related vitamin and spa facility in Baja, Mexico, for which Lynda Staub is a commissioned-sales associate in Winnipeg.                                (Click here.)

Helene Johnson, sister, an X-Ray technician from Wisconsin, also accompanied her mother for treatment in Mexico for week as did Lynda Staub taking their mother away from the accredited facility in Houston, Texas!

In October 2005, to seal their mother's fate once and for all, Andy Bouchard had his sister charged with "attempted kidnap" in an attempt to prevent his sister from complying with his mother Jeannette Van Steelant's  wishes, to the Burzynski Clinic as planned.

To discredit his sister further, Andy Bouchard had her arrested while at the Winnipeg Airport on false charges of attempted kidnap of their mother to take her to a cancer clinic in the States, a country further advanced in medical options than Canada.

To further discredit his sister, Andy Bouchard informed the radio station who broadcast the "attempted kidnap" on the 6:00 p.m. radio and newspaper - charges "stayed" months later after having his sister which Andy now deemed a "flight risk" to await trial for almost four months in remand in Winnipeg/Portage La Prairie!)

The unidentified man in this quote is Jeannette Van Steelant's step-son - Chis Van Steelant in this quote.  Chris has always despised his step-mother, seeing her  as a threat to his financial freedom/inheritance.

Chris Van Steelant is quoted as stating to sister from B.C. that "Jeannette Van Steelant couldn't die soon enough!"  Yet, Mrs. Van Steelant (Robert's mother) had heard good, positive things about the Burzynski
Clinic, of Houston, Texas, where it is believed had Jeannette been allowed to return to continue her treatment she would still be alive today!

Since her death, Chris has convinced his father to transfer farm properties into his name, leaving his father with a simple "Life Estate".  

Years prior, Chris Van Steelant had his grandmother transfer ownership of the main house on the property, without her knowing what she was signing, according to her statement later to Robert Van Steelant.  Greta Steelant had lived on the farm prior to moving into Stonewall and building a smaller rancher until forced due to her health to move into a senior's complex there.  Chris then allegedly promptly took out an $80,000 mortgage against the property now in his name, thereby by-passing her estate later on and making use of his new found "equity"!

In October 25 2006, Andy Bouchard had deceived the Stonewall RCMP in "falsely charging his sister with attempted kidnap of their mother despite her having stating her intentions, in writing, to her husband Robert Van Steelant, to return to the clinic she had previously attended in a last attempt to save her life."

Andy Bouchard's sister had flown out from B.C. to assist her mother who was valiantly fighting cancer but according to Winnipeg doctors had been given only a 2% chance to live.

The false attempted kidnap charges eventually stayed at trial - this after sister from B.C. had to await trial nearly four months in Winnipeg and Portage La Prairie Remands as Andy Bouchard had made her out to be a "flight risk"!

By putting her mother's life ahead of her own, she was aware that the "No Contact in Manitoba" as a result of the "false assault charges" from both her father and sister Lynda Staub to keep her from assisting Lionel Bouchard in his quest to enforce his life estate to his home which these abusive children had evicted him from his home after being involved in an accident could jeopardize her life and safety in Manitoba..  Lionel Bouchard recovered from hospitalization 100%.

This "No Contact between their mother and sister only in Manitoba" was orchestrated by her siblings, initiated in a telephone conversation by Crown McDuff's to Jeannette Van Steelant who was obviously being pressured once again by these abusive children, insisted that this was the only way to keep this daughter out of Manitoba and that Jeannette could resume contact three months later!

This diabolic ploy orchestrated by Andy Bouchard in order to continue his quest to commit his father as initially planned in January 2006 until exposed by this sister from B.C. after his telephone call to B.C. informing him of his intentions with respect to their father.

The false assault charges by Lionel Bouchard and Lynda Staub were unrelated to Jeannette Van Steelant as she had been divorced for over 25 years from Lionel Bouchard, both charges of which there was an acquittal.

Lionel Bouchard at trial, under oath, admitted he himself he had perjured himself  as there  had never been any assault and that he had been forced to lay charges by Andy Bouchard who drove him to Headingly RCMP Detachment.

An investigation is currently under way to prosecute both Lionel and Andy Bouchard for false arrests and perjury!

The false attempted kidnap charges were stayed.  Jeannette Van Steelant died on January 3, 2007 having been denied her only chance to live!

This occurred after these greed and not love-motivated children, had their mother, heavily medicated on morphine unaware of what she was being asked to do,sign a "No Contact" at the request of Crown McDuff and whose testimony is illegal
and inadmissible due to being under the influence of morphine at the time.

This "barring from coming to Manitoba" was meant to prevent daughter from B.C. from assisting her father, (Jeannette Van Steelant's ex-husband Lionel Bouchard) to uphold his legal right to his life estate entered into with son Andy Bouchard in September 2002 when Lionel Bouchard was FORCED by his son of Portage La Prairie to sell the second half of the Bouchard Centennial Farm.  

In January 2006, Andy & Angie Bouchard, along with sisters Lynda Staub of Rosser and Claire Demery of Teulon forcibly against his will moved their 82-year old father from his home in Elie, Manitoba, immediately upon his discharge from the hospital in January 2006 to a low rental housing complex in St. Eustache, hospitalized for slip and fall on ice he had recovered 100% from.

Lionel Bouchard had been rushed by ambulance to the Grace Emergency after nearly dying twice from a concussion suffered after a slip and fall on ice while attending a friend's funeral in St. Eustache, Manitoba!  

These malicious children, despite all signing an agreement not to do so in January 2006, stole their father's rights to live out the rest of his days in his humble rancher as per the life estate signed between Lionel and son Andy Bouchard in September 2002!

At this time, Lynda Staub is controlling her father and coercing him to perjure himself by signing all documentation placed in front of him, including a Protection Order against daughter in B.C. where he lived for the past three years, 2008 - 2011 - and forcing him to forfeit his claim to his "life estate and mortgage due him by Andy Bouchard", and in so doing giving up his legal right to live out the rest of his days in his home of over fifty years in Elie, Manitoba.

"Whether true or not" the FEAR of incarceration paralyzes forcing Lionel Bouchard to comply to these abusive children's demands - to the point of Lionel Bouchard perjuring himself, in writing, to the RCMP and the courts repeatedly - sacrificing his two daughters who have come to his aid, one from B.C. and the youngest in Winnipeg. 

The truth of the matter is that Lionel Bouchard acting out of fear of going to prison by Lynda Staub's threats as he has seen how easily his daughter was charged and incarcerated simply based on lies - false charges, including his own!
