Lionel Bouchard returned on his own accord, against his lawyer's wishes, to Winnipeg in August 2011, after living in B.C. for the past three years with his daughter.
In August 2008, Lionel Bouchard had been escorted out of Manitoba by two private investigators to Regina to catch a direct flight to B.C. while Andy Bouchard and Mike Slegers tried to formally charge Lionel's lawyer Winston Smith with "abduction" of his client.
These investigators were hired by Lionel's lawyer out of fear for his physical safety from his predatory children - Andy Bouchard, Lynda Staub and Claire Demery who sought their father's demise in 2006 at a time when Andy Bouchard refused to allow his father to return home from the hospital to his home of over 50 years - this despite a Life Estate Agreement held between father and son!!!
Since Lionel Bouchard's return in 2011, Lynda Staub has been stealing her father's meagre pension money to repay her own legal fees to fight two Protection Orders in favour of Lionel Bouchard against these vultures - Andy Bouchard, Lynda Staub and Claire Demery who had diabolically denied their elderly father his legal right to live out the rest of his days in his home on the Centennial Bouchard homestead in Elie, Manitoba!

Out of pure malice and greed, Andy Bouchard, his wife Angie Bouchard, Lynda Staub, Helene Johnson, Claire Demery caused their 91-year-old father Lionel Bouchard a premature death. Lionel died broken-hearted, broke and tossed aside like dirt which is how these pathetically deplorable children treated their father after evicting him out of his home in 2006! He went from the picture of perfect health for a man his age while in B.C. in his daughter's care to ashes in their care as predicted by all those who knew him in their hands!
Lionel had wanted to live out his last days in peace, and quiet, working in his yard and enjoying the years of his toil, growing trees on his homestead, for anyone and everyone else in Elie who wanted a shelter around their property.
In fact, Lionel Bouchard's last 100 trees which he grew for sale at $80 a piece, at a time when he hired Roger Houde, despite the agreement Lionel had with his despicable son Andy Bouchard, Andy Bouchard refused to allow the harvest of his trees.
Years prior Andy Bouchard had been caught red-handed in the act of stealing his father's trees at a time when his father was out of town delivering grain dryers in the States, trees Andy swapped for flooring in his cabin in Kenora and Lynda also benefited at her home in Warren!!! Lionel Bouchard had also grown a second 100 trees alongside his for Andy's use. In the end, Lionel Bouchard was robbed not only of the last $7,000 interest-free mortgage payment due him by Andy Bouchard, the $8,000 for the trees and the costs associated with having to rent suites at Manitoba Housing for the past nine years which again in 2006 Andy Bouchard and Lynda Staub, in a written agreement, promised to pay their father if he were to be moved from his home - one of many agreements they NEVER HAD ANY INTENTION OF HONORING written up only in the hopes to appease their sister from B.C. hoping she would not try enforce on behalf of her abused father who she immediately recognized was being bullied by all four whereby she sought legal remedy for!!! However, as a result of constant, ongoing threats, Lionel Bouchard was incapable of standing up against his abusers - his very own flesh and blood!
Not only was Lionel Bouchard robbed the last years of his life by these diabolical, despicable children, all actions documented in their own words and in own writing, but the rest of the family was divided as a result of their greed and maliciousness, not to mention the 27+ grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were also deprived of a relationship with Lionel Bouchard.
Lionel would no doubt have been happily married if that relationship had not interfered with (by Peggy (Bouchard) Keough, Claire Demery and others on orders from Andy Bouchard, confirmed by Madeleine (Bouchard) Fillion.
Today, according to a lot of locals most agree that likely Lionel would still have been still be alive today and in good health today as he took care of himself - until put in a cage in a small apartment "staring out a window" as Andy Bouchard so predicted to his sister of B.C. in 2006 which Andy himself caused to happen to his father!
