Lionel Bouchard was driven to the Autopac insurance by Andy Bouchard and Mike Slegers in an attempt totransfer the 2007 Dodge Caravan, provided for his use, into their names.
Fortunately, Lionel Bouchard's daughter from B.C., had insured the vehicle remained legally in her name, her father as registered driver - to prevent fraudulent transfer of the vehicle to Andy Bouchard.
As it was, the cost of two private investigators was incurred to retrieve the vehicle barricaded in Mike Sleger's shed in St. Francois by a fifth wheel and boat parked in front of his locked shed.
Acid was then poured by either Andy Bouchard or Mike Slegers on the brand new rugwhich required full replacement upon its arrival in B.C. at a cost of $1,000!
