Contrary to media advertising and "awareness" to the plight of the elderly, when reporting senior abuse, the victim is shuffled from one government agency to another. 

The end result, invariably, is to be directed to obtain the services of a lawyer, which the majority of fixed-income abused seniors can ill-afford. 

Therefore, the elderly abuse epidemic continues...To date, there is no one organization which will investigate individual complaints of elder abuse.

Avenues already approached over the past six years - with no assistance!!! The answer appears to be the same that of legal services which the majority of seniors who are abused can ill afford on their fixed pensions!

It is unfortunate that despite funding being allocated for this cause, there was no contact with respect to Lionel Bouchard & Jeannette Gervais elderly abuse case which precipitated this action....
