Andy Bouchard told his father he could return back to his home in June 2006. This coincides with the time frame Andy anticipated subdividing his lakefront property and had planned to sell the Bouchard property prior to June in order not to have to honour his life estate agreement with his father.

February 13, 2006 - Andy & Angie Bouchard's $185,000 mortgage in favour of the Royal Bank taken out on December 14, 2005, two days prior to his father's slip and fall, registered at Land Titles office where sister Lynda Staub works for Winnipeg Land Titles, registered two months late and not within the five day mandatory filing requirement.
