Family Abuse on Trial
Victims
- Three sisters, the one of whom was from B.C., put her life on hold for 7 1/2 years to give lovingly and unselfishly of her time & resources to assist their father to enforce his legal right to remain in his home as per a life estate entered into with his son whose despicable actions at the first opportunity he got, evicted his father from his home after while recovering from a concussion after an unfortunate slip and fall on ice after attending a friend's funeral.
- Two other sisters, one from Calgary, and the other from Winnipeg sought to bring awareness to the Public Trustee of elder abuse their father was being subjected to at the hands of four siblings who, against their father's will, in violation of his legal rights, had forcefully removed him from his home of over fifty years against his will,
this immediately upon his discharge from the hospital for a slip and fall on ice while attending a friend's funeral.
- This sister had flown out from B.C. to prevent her younger brother Andy Bouchard from committing their father in January 2006 as a means not to have to honor their agreement.
- Enraged, Andy Bouchard then commenced action and to try to have this sister astute to his plans "committed" for exposing his intentions to the rest of the family as well as to the community!
- Andy Bouchard has a reputation among his family and the community of "bullying" and
intimidating anyone and everyone who dares stand up to him or not comply with his wishes!
- Immediately, this sister was persecuted and discredited by her siblings (to prevent her father from having any support or legal representation) by way of eighteen false allegations to the Headingley RCMP investigations within six weeks to intimidate her and discourage her from coming to her father's rescue.
- Lynda Stub laid false charges of assault against her sister to ensure that their plans to go after their step-father's estate were not disrupted. This they managed to do by preventing their mother from returning to the cancer clinic in the States which boasts of a 93% cancer cure rate.
- Andy Bouchard coerced his father into perjuring himself and charging the daughter who saved him from being committed, with a false charge of assault, which he later admitted on the stand at trial that never occurred. This charge caused this loving daughter to spend nearly four months awaiting trial in Winnipeg Remand.
- Lionel Bouchard was blessed with a vehicle for his life-time use which was Mike Slegers locked up and barricaded with a boat and fifth wheel.
- Lionel Bouchard while in B.C. was sent on several expense paid trips to the States.
The Abusers
- While recovering from a concussion after slipping on ice and suffering a concussion, removed and destroyed all his life-time belongings, leaving their father with personal effects THEY felt he should have, despite his protests not to go into his home.
- Andy Bouchard destroyed all his father's paperwork so as to ensure his father had no evidence of the financial abuse he had caused his father over the years and to conceal the life estate agreement entered into in September 2002 when Andy Bouchard bullied his father into selling the second half of the Bouchard Centennial Farm in Elie, Manitoba.
- Andy Bouchard, greed-motivated, enlisted other family members to ensure that Lionel Bouchard did not marry his fiancee, leaving him with no one to support when him as Andy Bouchard had planned not to honor his agreement with father but to sell the farm, which he could have and yet still honor his "right to occupancy" agreement with his father.
- Andy Bouchard, his wife Angie, Lynda Staub and Claire Demery evicted their father out of
his very own home the minute he got home from the hospital.
- Threatened their father who escaped their clutches and went to B.C. with "child abuse" if he ever returned to Manitoba.
- Andy Bouchard maliciously barricaded his father's motor home so he could not access it. Lionel Bouchard was forced to procure the services of farmers to move the farm equipment Andy Bouchard had positioned in front of his father's unit.
- The following summer, Andy Bouchard refused to allow access to his father's motor home whereby the RCMP had to be called in to force Andy to allow the unit to leave the farm yard.
- Andy Bouchard called in a medical practitioner to give his father an evaluation in order to try to deem him incompetent in order that his father would forfeit his rights to his home and mortgage due him by this abusive son.
- While recovering from a concussion at the Grace Hospital, Andy Bouchard was encouraging the staff to have his father undergo psychiatric testing as opposed to the normal course of recovery for an accident victim.
- Lynda Staub, Lionel Bouchard's daughter has worked at the Winnipeg Land Titles for the past twenty years. Her father saw her on a regular basis to assist him with any paperwork he had issues with. Lynda Staub did not ensure that her father's life estate or mortgage were registered, rather denied this legal documentation existed stating that arrangement was "only verbal" or no longer in force when questioned at length by relatives.
- So as to conceal their motives, Lynda Staub interfered with registration of an $185,000 mortgage in favor of the Royal Bank drawn two days before her father's slip on ice in December 2005. This mortgage was taken out by Andy and Angie Bouchard and was registered only on February 13, 2006, when four peace bonds were applied for in Portage La Prairie designed to keep their sister separated from her father to ensure he had no support. These were dismissed and the judge indicated that it was not an emergency to move their father and recommended a lawyer, not a psychiatrist which is what Andy Bouchard brought to the St. Eustache Manor later that afternoon after disregarding the judges instructions and moving his father against his will from his home of over fifty years.
- Lionel Bouchard claimed he was drugged the day of the Peace Bond applications as he has no recollection of events of that morning whatsoever and was aware of the application years later when he went to live with his daughter for three years who assisted him in commencing two civil actions to regain his home and mortgage due him.
- Andy Bouchard and Lynda Staub brought in Lynda's lawyer for their father to sign a power of attorney in their names, commenced by Andy Bouchard at his lawyer's office after his father fell, without his father's knowledge. Lionel Bouchard refused to sign the document for over half an hour and eventually Andy Bouchard tricked his father into signing the
document which he slipped beneath the insurance and driver renewal license paperwork Andy Bouchard had his father sign at the Grace Hospital cafeteria in mid January 2006, while still recovering from the concussion, having adverse reactions to the psychotropic drugs administered per Andy Bouchard's devious/slanderous comments made to the hospital staff to make his father appear insane so he could commit him as he had already admitted to having looked at a mental facility in Portage La Prairie.....
