September 22, 2003, a Life Estate Agreement was entered into between father and son
Lionel Bouchard and Andy Bouchard of Portage La Prairie, Manitoba.

In February 2006, after living on the Bouchard Centennial Farm for over 50 years, on Bouchard Drive, in Elie, Lionel Bouchard was evicted from his home by his son Andy Bouchard, daughter-in-law Angie Bouchard (Andy's wife), Lynda (Bouchard) Staub of Rosser, Claire (Bouchard) Demery of Teulon, Manitoba.
This malicious theft occurred after their then 82 year old, perfectly healthy elderly father slipped on ice in St. Eustache Church while attending a friend's funeral.
After a brief hospital stay, Andy Bouchard, his wife and two sisters took the opportunity to "clean out their father's" while in the hospital ~ destroying by their own admission in an email their father's personal papers and belongings, readying the place for Andy Bouchard to list up for sale ~ thereby reneging on his life estate to his father.
At the time, his father Lionel Bouchard was still carrying the unregistered mortgage he held on behalf of his son Andy Bouchard whereby to this day, Andy Bouchard has refused to pay his father!!!
Keep in mind daughter Lynda Staub was aware of this life estate and by virtue of her employment for the past 20+ years at Winnipeg Land Titles did not protect her elderly
father's interests in light of the reputation her brother has in the community as a "bully"!
