  AGREEMENT TO REMOVE TREES

Andy Bouchard made this agreement with his fatheron his birthday. 

When Lionel hired his nephew Roger Houde to harvest the trees, Andy refused to allow him on the property. 

Financial loss to Lionel Bouchard $8,000 the market value of the trees.

In addition, Lionel Bouchard had planted a second row along side his trees for Andy Bouchard who benefited from his years of hoeing and tending to the sucklings.

On another occasion, Lionel Bouchard arrived from a trip to the States delivering grain dryers for Ron Chabot, only
to find a tree-harvesting machine in the field.  The
individual hired by Andy quickly disappeared when Lionel arrived unexpectedly. 

Lionel learned that Harry Dufresne had been given Lionel Bouchard's trees in exchange for flooring for Andy's cabin in Kenora - this without his father's permission. 

Lynda Staub also benefited from some of her father's trees that her father later learned had also been removed from his property.

Lionel Bouchard planted in excess of 19,655 trees over 48 years to build a "shelter" around the perimeter  of the Bouchard Centennial Farm.

Andy Bouchard, his son, benefitted from this shelter.

Andy Bouchard thanked him by kicking him out of  his humble rancher Lionel had built.

Lionel Bouchard has lived over fifty years when his father slip on ice at a friend's funeral and was hospitalized for a concussion!
