Lionel Bouchard of Elie, Manitoba, sent to live in B.C. in August 2008, escorted out of Manitoba by two private investigators driven to Regina Airport, to catch a direct flight to Vancouver, at Lionel's lawyers request who feared Lionel's life was endangered by his son Andy Bouchard, Portage La Prairie, and two daughters Lynda Staub, of Rosser, and Claire Demery of Teulon.

As predicted, Andy Bouchard and Mike Slegers tried to charge Lionel's lawyer with "kidnapping".

This "tactic" had worked in the past for Andy Bouchard after he carried his mother, heavily medicated under morphine, to the RCMP in Stonewall to prevent his mother returning to Houston, Texas and in so doing denied his mother her last opportunity to be cured of cancer at a facility known for its 93% cure rate where in 2005, Jeannette Van Steelant had made remarkable recovery at this internationally renown facility!
