Lionel Bouchard agreed to sell his property to his son Andy Bouchard for sentimental reasons as the farm was a Centennial Bouchard Farm and Lionel wanted to carry on the tradition.
Regrettably Lionel Bouchard realized he could have gotten fair market value had he sold to a complete stranger who would paying $1,200 an acre.
