In meeting "Dr." Bruce Jamieson briefly at the Portage Hospital - Mental Health Department, who claimed he was a "gerontolist", Mr. Jamieson was not in the least interested in the documents Lionel Bouchard's daughter of B.C. had for him with respect to Lionel Bouchard's life estate, etc.
Mr. Jamieson returned the envelope, without opening up to view the contents, stating that he had already talked to other familymembers at great length (also deceived similar to so many others at the time) and commented he was not interested in hearing any input this particular daughter had with respect to her father and his claim to his home. Lionel Bouchard's lawyer took exception to having Andy Bouchard have his client - Lionel Bouchard mentally assessed in light of the ongoing court action occurring at the time to reinstate Lionel Bouchard to his home by way of a "possession order".
Andy Bouchard was blatantly not acting "in good faith" with respect to honouring his agreement with his father entered into in September 2002 at the time Andy Bouchard had bullied his father to sell him the second half of the Bouchard Centennial Farm in Elie, Manitoba, where his father had lived for fifty years!
After a Chinese supper in Portage, two cases of beer purchased by Andy Bouchard, and five hours of "talks" between Andy Bouchard and Mike Slegers, (while Lionel Bouchard was ushered to bed and not privy to the talks going on about his future), Mike Slegers suddenly turned against his "friend" Lionel Bouchard later claiming that Andy Bouchard "gave him a better deal". (Audio clip.) The next day, Mike Slegers acting on behalf of Andy Bouchard, represented Lionel Bouchard at Hook & Smith office, for an unscheduled appointment, whereby Andy Bouchard promised to buy his father a house in Elie - stall tactics which ended up in Lionel Bouchard being taken to Portage to once again apply for a room at the St. Eustache Manor and being heldagainst his will at Mike Slegers until rescued by his lawyer and escorted out of the province by two private investigators to his daughter in B.C. ~ this with Lionel's full written consent. (Click here.) As expected, both Andy Bouchard and Mike Slegers reported lawyer Winston Smith for "abducting" his own client Lionel Bouchard. Unlike Andy Bouchard's sister who was caught off guard and charged with "attempted kidnap of their mother" to take her down to an international renown cancer clinic in Houston, Texas, where she had previously been taken by this daughter, Winston Smith was warned to expect the same treatment which is exactly what occurred as he fielded calls with respect to abducting his very own client!!!
