Bernie Legare & former fiancée Connie. Bernie conspiring with Andy Bouchard to commit his ex-wife who he has had no contact with since Bernie went to live with his parents in Elie for one year, this after his drywall company failure in the '90's. Subsequently Bernie declared bankruptcy twice, leaving family and friends in the lurch for bankrolling him for his company McGee's Drywall! Bernie's ex-wife was left without any financial support to raise their three teenage children, and through years of extremely hard work, paid off in excess of $200,000 of debt Bernie left behind as a result of his bad business decisions with several business partners. In one case Bernie cosigned a $65,000 demand loan (which got called) without ensuring that it was registered against property he was purchasing from his partner. At a cost of $41,000, the legal tangle which involved his new drywall business to which his ex-partner convinced the drywall supplier to pull his credit, was untangled, but not before his family was evicted from the property he was living on of which he was part of the 10 undivided acres he had purchased. A warrant for Bernie's arrest was also issued for lack of payment to his one of his tapers he employed.
Andy Bouchard recruited Bernie Légaré to discredit and create endless false allegations against his ex-wife, among relatives, acquaintances and clients in B.C. to discourage her from assisting her father in remaining in his home of over 50 years in Elie, Manitoba!
Andy Bouchard feared his sister would continue to fund her father's legal fees to enforce "life estate" agreement her father had entered into with Andy Bouchard in September 2002.
In February 2008, Lionel Bouchard had flown out to B.C. on his own accord, this after changing his Will and Power of Attorney to his sister Madeleine Fillion of Winnipeg and daughter of B.C.!
