- Screamed at her father for being in B.C. "Now look what you have done!"
- Closed down her father's bank account at the Caisse Populaire d'Elie because she had not heard from him in about a month.
- Funds were transferred from one account to pay off another account to eliminate line of credit.
- Offered Mike Slegers $5,000 to "return her father back to them"!
- At one of the family reunions, when her father showed up at her farm house afterwards, Claire was overhead saying "Who invited "HIM" here?" referring to her father.
- Upon learning of their engagement, setting up her father and new fiancée Susie Waldner over for supper, Claire Demery demeaned, humiliated and insulted the couple asking what their "intentions where"? (See the newly engaged couple below in B.C. 1990).
- According to sister Madeleine Fillion, Lionel Bouchard was talked out of marrying his fiancée by his sister Peggy (Bouchard) Keough of Headingley, who was instrumental in having this new relationship broken off immediately. It is well known that Andy Bouchard could not have kicked his father our of his house had Susie been living there.
- Andy Bouchard is well-known to use third parties (behind the scenes) to do his dirty bidding since his child hood days. In this case, Lionel Bouchard was bullied and eventually evicted despite the legal life estate arrangement as overheard by Lionel's ex-fiancé in Andy's heated exchange with his father on the Homestead....
Claire Demery pressured by Andy Bouchard to take action immediately after Andy Bouchard was served a caveat on title with respect to a Life Estate Agreement which Andy Bouchard had denied he had entered with his father when he purchased the second half of the Bouchard Homestead.
Lionel Bouchard had, in consultation with his sister Madeleine Fillion, changed his will and flown to B.C. to seek to seek refuge with his daughter who assisted him which ended being an unsuccessful fight from 2006 to his death in 2015 to his legal right to his home from which he was evicted in January 2006!
Lionel Bouchard died penniless, of a broken heart, in a high rise in Winnipeg, and as a result of his abusive-greedy-self-serving son Andy Bouchard and daughters Lynda Staub, Claire Demery, Helene Johnson (all allegedly indebted to their brother Andy Bouchard) ~ not as per his life-long dream to live out his last days according to his life estate, in peace and happiness, in his humble rancher on the Bouchard Centennial Farm!
Lionel Bouchard was tormented the last years of his life, threatened, deceived, manipulated, drugged and constant state of turmoil primarily at the hands of his son ANDY BOUCHARD who masterminded, (behind the scenes), the constant heinous abuse onto his father. It was well-known Andy hated his father with a passion for, in part, for catching his son in the middle of the day in adultery at the family homestead and Andy's house he and his wife had taken over at a transfer cost of $1 as stated at Land Titles. Also his father, as many others, witnessed stolen equipment parts in the shed (belonging to the deceased Blight owner of Portage?) in Andy's shed on the Bouchard Farm!!!!

Such pathetically sick, horrific actions inflicted on a senior, and especially it being on their very own father. The Bible they were all raised to follow clearly states to "Honor your Mother and Father" irrespective of their human flaws ~ which everyone has....
One has to pitty them on their day of judgement....
